Reuel Ziva's MIC Oralee
This beautiful cream doe was purchased from Sandy Riehle of Reuel Dairy in Deer Park. Her lovely looks shout "SHOW GOAT" all over, if I ever get around to showing. She was a great milker as a first freshener and milked 10+ Pounds in 2012. She was doing even better in 2013 with a daily average of 12+ lb. 2014 has been more like 14 lbs. per day! Her udder is well-attached, with a high and wide rear udder and a smooth fore udder. She is easy to hand milk.

Nomad Little Missy (Deceased)
Missy (Woest-Hoeve Stinger X Nomad Pop Tart) is a doe that I sold as a baby. She is a 3-year-old now, and I bought her back after her sire, Stinger, died unexpectedly. I was thrilled with how she turned out. She has a beautiful udder and conformation. She milks 8+ lbs per day.

*B Woest-Hoeve Stinger (Deceased)
This handsome purebred Nubian buck is out of a SGCH Iron-Owl Jeepers Creepers, a 2012 ADGA Nationals winning doe. His sire is SGCH Iron-Owl Bluebeard +B. His pedigree is filled with SGCH (Superior Genetics, Champion) animals! He is very dairy with a super-long swan neck that I am hoping he passes on to his kids.

Nomad Frosted Strudel
Strudel (Crown-Hill Magic Love Potion X Nomad Blackberry Strudel) was a big stylish doe that was a dream to milk. She was everyone's favorite doe to hand milk. She had long hand-length teats with large orifices and could fill a bucket in a couple of minutes. She milked an average of 12+ pounds per day. She had a smooth fore udder and a well-attached rear udder. I've always had a special fondness for Strudel. She had a very sweet personality and regal look. She would gaze directly into my eyes with a loving look, and give me a lick when I told her what a good girl she was. I can't begin to tell you what a neat goat she was. She will be missed!!! Her sire was my old Crown Hill buck, "Crown Hill Magic Love Potion". He put extreme breed type and milk into all of his daughters. He was one of the best goat investments I ever made. Strudel was 9 years old when I lost her 9/10/15, due to an injury that caused her health to rapidly decline. Strudel has 2 daughters and multiple granddaughters in my herd. She was truly a great foundation doe.
***** Strudel progeny currently or formerly in my herd: "Nomad X-Quisite Malibu Rum" (daughter), "Nomad Frosted Fritter" (daughter), "Ancient Way Cleo" (granddaughter), "Nomad Little Missy" (granddaughter), "Little Mountain Sterling" (Mini Nubian great grandson), "Nomad Wild Jumpin' Bean" (Mini Nubian granddaughter), "Nomad Wild Love Child" (Mini Nubian great granddaughter), "Nomad Wild Northern Lights" (Mini Nubian great grandson). On top of these direct offspring of Strudel, I have 2 daughters out of Strudel's twin sister, "Nomad Sweet Eclair". Her 2 daughters are "Nomad Sweet Spumoni", and "Nomad Sweet Baklava".

SGCH The Autumn Glory's Willow
Diesel is a huge 300 lb buck with amazing breed character. He is one of the most beautiful bucks I've ever owned in 20+ years of breeding Nubians. He improves udders, & his daughters are big, tall, productive does.

Nomad Wild Nirvana
(Town-&-Country Magic Momento X Nomad Wild Ivy)
I sold Nirvana as a 2nd freshening 3 year old. She was about 2 weeks fresh and milking over a gallon a day in March when I sold her. She had quadruplets that year. Later on in the fall, her buyer (Chrys) told me that she had been weighing her milk every day and had been getting 20 lbs. per day all year!!! She asked me if this was normal. I was pretty amazed and told her it was outstanding. In fact, Nirvana is the heaviest milking doe that I know of. According to Chrys, she was eating about 16 lbs. of grain per day, free choice alfalfa, and some pasture too. Unfortunately, Nirvana got horned in the udder by a Boer goat and only 1/2 of her udder functions now. I was happy to get Nirvana back into my herd. She will be a brood doe for fancy heavy milking daughters. I wish that she had been on official test to record this amazing milk production, but it just didn't happen. Her udder is now much much bigger than it is in this picture (above), which was taken just before I sold her in 2011. Some people may be skeptical about Nirvana's production because she was not on official milk test, but she does have some Alpine blood about 5 generations back (which is where she got her cou clair coloring), and her pedigree also goes back to Six-M-Galaxy bloodlines - they are known for high production Nubians. Something just came together with this doe and made her the milking queen.
Nomad Sweet Eclair (Crown Hill Magic Love Potion X Nomad Blackberry Strudel)

Eclair is the dam of 2011 does, Baklava and Spumoni. Eclair is a big, stylish doe with a well attached udder like her twin sister, Strudel. Eclair won BOB, Best Udder, and GCH overall at a local county fair. I was sad to learn that she passed away after kidding in 2012.
The large photo was taken at Seven Arrows Farm. I sold her in 2011 a few days after kidding.

Nomad Uncle Ozzie (Woest-Hoeve Uncle Sam X Reuel Ziva's MIC Oralee)
Ozzie is Oralee's son. He is so gorgeous that I kept him and sold his sire, even though Uncle Sam is a wonderful buck. He is very smooth bodied with a beautiful typey head and great feet and legs. I LOVE his color. He also has the sweetest, most mellow personality of all my bucks. See his 2013 daughter, Aura, on the Nubian doe page.
Ozzie was sold in 2013 simply because I did not have enough Nubian does to justify the number of bucks I had. Pedigree: http://adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=N001567983 |
