Here is a show-winning Mini-Nubian doe I sold in 2011, "Nomad Magic Florida", Grand Champion at the 2011 Benton Franklin Fair.  She is sired by "Nomad Wild Leapin' Leprechaun".

*My focus on the Mini Nubians is the quality of their genetics, not what generation they are.  That will come later. I'd rather start with 1st generation Minis out of show quality parents rather than 6th generation goats that have poor udders and can't compete at a real show. I judge them by the strict standards of ADGA show animals. I've been happy to see lots of improvement in the quality of MDGA Mini Nubians in recent years. I like to see other breeders producing true show quality & productive Minis, rather than being focused on pretty colors, and obsessed with the generation of the goat.
I have been pleased with my first generation Mini Nubian girls.  They are 1/2 sized goats, yet they often milk almost as much as the standard dairy does, and their milk is delicious!!!  Keep in mind that I don't keep any adult standard does that milk less than a gallon per day, so these experimental Mini Nubians have nice milk production genetics to begin with.

Little Mountain's Tiramisu
(Nomad Icy Blue X Ancient Way Cleo)

Tira freshened with a beautiful udder, just like her dam, Cleo. She will be a fantastic brood doe. She has excellent milk quality, is easy to hand milk, and I expect her to milk close to a gallon per day next year. She is a nice small mini doe.
